Welcome to The Flow, Duke University’s student-run publication focused on covering the stories behind reproductive health through art, writing, creativity, academic research and more. Reproductive health is inherently a deeply personal and multi-dimensional topic, so through our works in the Academic Journal and Magazine, we wish to offer people across academia and beyond the opportunity to find comfort in their bodies, their voices and their stories. 

The goal of this publication is to provide a platform for students from a variety of backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences to come together, under a shared experience of exploration through education in art, writing and research. This publication is by students, for students, we wish to de-stigmatize AND prioritize reproductive health for all students. We know that coming to college and taking care of your health and wellness away from the context within which you grew up in is a scary and daunting task. Thus, we’d like to shed light on the diverse set of experiences, provide access to cutting edge research, and credible information from and  among the people in our Duke community and beyond.
